Switch to ebilling

Hello

like countless other people on here I am unable to opt out of paper bills, which I don’t recall opting into in the first place. I have read various ways to opt into ebilling and none of them work.  Please help sort this out for me.

    Sorry to hear you are having a little difficulty updating your billing preferences. You should be able to switch to E-billing via the instructions 👉 here - sorry to hear if this hasn't been working for you!

    We will need to send you a PM to confirm a few details so we can get this updated for you.   • Please can somebody message to help set me up for ebilling too? All web links are broken and the help section is outdated.

  • Dear Virgin Media Team,

    I am writing to express my dissatisfaction regarding an ongoing issue with my billing preferences. Despite contacting your team twice to request a switch to eBilling, I have once again received a paper bill and incurred the associated charge.

    This is not only frustrating but also inconsistent with my request. I kindly request you:

    1. Ensure my account is updated to eBilling immediately.
    2. Refund the paper billing charges incurred due to this repeated oversight.

    Please confirm once the changes have been made and ensure no further paper bills are sent.

    Looking forward to your prompt response and resolution.

      We can see on the systems on our side that you've since spoken with the team who've looked to have resolved this for you now.

  • Hi I too am issues changing over to ebilling on my mums account, there is no option to take way the post option on the drop down menu

      Hi Crowy79 thanks for posting although we're sorry you're having ebilling issues.

      We can't register your mum directly as this is an account holder only action, but is your mum able to create a profile on here and reach out to us?

  • Hello, I am also unable to switch to eBilling. I have tried following the instructions provided however although my contact preferences have been set to email since the beginning, I keep getting sent (and being charged for) paper bills. Could you please advise me on how to solve this issue? Thank you.

      Welcome to the Community Forums. 

      Sorry to hear that you're also having issues changing to e-billing. Please join me on private message so I can locate your account and pass account security. You can see your private messages at the top of the page, in the envelope icon or if you're using a smaller device, you can see your private messages by clicking on the Virgin Media logo at the top right and select 'Messages' from the drop down. 

  • Hi, I am having trouble switching to ebilling on my online account. The only communication preferences that I can select is 'eBills / Email / Text' which is already set so I cannot just choose ebilling.

  • I also cannot change to ebilling using any of the instructions suggested. After ringing support they pointed me to the same instructions that don’t work.
