Returns pack

Hi requested returns pack today.  Can anyone advise pls does it come via royal mail and how long does it usually take.  Don't want to be in a situation like some others on here where it doesn't come in time and get 'bill threats'  many thanks.  Could get box myself just want equip gone so should I use own box and just print label off from yodel site (another nember kindly sent me a link)?  Or box up and go to 02 shop weekend?  Thank you

    Hi again Anonymous

It's entirely up to yourself if you wish to use your own packaging and printed label. or go to a nearby O2 store with the equipment, or wait for the requested returns pack.

Whichever method you use will have no effect on VM's nternal systems.

Equipment return emails are automatically generated by the billing system so you may receive 'reminders' after you've despatched the equipment. VM can't update the systems if the equipment is still in transit. Transit can take between 7 to 10 working days.

Once VM receive the equipment and it's scanned into the systems then the billing account will be updated. (The returns are scanned in bulk )

Thanks once more.  I already have a bill from vm saying bill zero should that be the final one now?  Probably sounds daft question but just need clarification.  I'll probably pack it up and take to vm store.  So will they print label in store/scan and give me a receipt and I'll just put a list of what's in there in box and take photo?  Thank you so much for your help and sorry if my questions are a bit stupid.

You may need to speak to the 'right' person in the O2 store (see recent topic below)

Make sure you get a receipt as that is the only proof you have of returning.

I would suggest you photograph what you return and make a note of all the model and serial numbers of everything. We sometimes see some VM 'confusion' on here where VM demands equipment the customer has never owned or gave back a long time ago.
