Returning or Recycling Old Equipment

From the 12 June my new contract was changed to Broadband Only, so I now have the following old equipment that';s no longer needed.

VM Tivo Box 500GB Model: SMT-H3110 Manufactured: 2013-08

VM Box Manufactured: 2011-06

I've not had any correspondence regarding the return of these items, so do I just get them recycled at the local tip?

I would like written confirmation regarding this disposal please.

    Thanks for posting. 

    Sorry to hear the concerns about which equipment you need to return or recycle. We have a help page here https://www.virginmedia.com/help/return-or-recycle-equipment that advises which equipment needs to be returned, and the rest can be recycled. (There's also some info on how to do this in the link)

    It sounds like the equipment you have just needs to be recycled - can you confirm if the VM Box manufactured 2011-06 is a Hub? If you head to the section titled 'What equipment to return' in the link above, it includes pictures of any equipment so you can cross reference it.

      It would appear after following your link, that as my equipment is old it can simply be taken to my local waste centre for recycling.
