red light on Virgin hub 3.0

The red light is staying on all of the time, i have tried all of the solutions in the help section but the red light is still staying on, the top of the hub is a little bit warm, help please.

    Please do a pin-hole reset of the hub. If the red LED remains the hub will need replacing.
