Red light on box

Any ideas as to why my virgin tv box is constantly red and the message on the TV is saying connected to a USB as there isn't enough power?

    Which VM set top box do you have?   

    Which light is showing red?  Is there also an error code  showing?

    If you have a stream box are you using VM's combined ethernet/power adapter and is it plugged directly into a wall socket or into your TV's USB port? A red light on the Stream box means no internet connection.

    Hi SazJ73 👋.

    Thanks for reaching out to us and welcome to the Community Forums, with Stream boxes the USB ports in TV's do not produce enough power to operate the Stream box to its full capacity and would require the use of the plug that is provided in the box. 

    Please let us know if you are still facing issues after using the plug that is provided.
