overcharged after contract renewal
On the 05/12/24 I took up your renewal offer of £64.40 per month on a 18 month contract. I was then sent the pre-contract documents, the contract summary sheet number is - 100277336705. I was very happy with this deal until I received the January 2025 bill (13/12/24) which was for £147.08.
As a result of this bill I contacted Virgin Media via telephone. My first call was at 12.07pm and lasted 12minutes before I was cut off. I rang back at 12.20pm and was passed on to a uk call centre, and again I was cut off after 15minutes. They did however ring back at 12.39 but this call cut off after about 3 or 4 rings, they didn’t ring back.
I rang back at 12.45pm and spoke to a very helpful young man who seemed to understand what he was doing. He took the above contract number and after checking the relevant details told me that my January bill would still be for £147.08. I was told that any future bills would be credited to allow for the overcharged amount of £82.68.
Today, I have received the bill for February 2025 and nothing has been sorted, the bill is still for £147.08.
This needs to be sorted immediately.
