No upgrades or renewal offers…

Hi

i am due to be out of contract in 6 weeks and for as long as I have had the account the Virgin media account portal tells me to upgrade my package or check renewal offers. However every time I click the links I always get a Sorry not found page displayed. Can someone check my account is setup correctly and tell me why I can never see any upgrades at renewal offers.

    Broken renewal links are a never-ending source of regular complaint on here. 

    Suppliers have to notify you between 10 and 40 days of your contract end. I get the impression that VM tends towards the lower end of this range.

    Chances are that anything VM offers you as a ready-made deal at renewal is not going to be as good as something you negotiate yourself.

    Unfortunately though that does mean you have to engage in the unhappy process of trying to make contact with VM to renegotiate.

  • Double check that you have marketing enabled too re email/text offers.

    I've also noticed a recent trend for decent offers to be made via live chat.

    Thanks for the information. It would be good if the customer portal would actually work when I click on upgrade or renewal. Sounds like I will have to start the long drawn out process of haggling for the best deal!!!

        Thanks Robert_P. I would like to understand why nothing ever shows for upgrades / renewal offers. Is something needing to be corrected on my account?
