No contract ending notification email.

Has anybody had any issues with not receiving a contract ending notification. I have tried to lodge a. number of complains requesting a copy of the email and origin address, but complaints keep being closed with off topic resolutions and I simply can't talk to a human being. If I've missed the email then fair enough but I don't think I have, its cost me a lot and I don't think it unreasonable to request come confirmation....

  • Hi Mick74 👋.

Thanks for reaching out to us and welcome to the Community Forums, sorry to hear of the issues that you are facing with obtaining your contract details. So that we can assist you we would need to bring you in for a private message, please look out for the envelope on the top right of your web browser or if you are using a mobile device, it will be located under your profile icon.

    Thanks.

  • That’s a bill with a standard title that matchs every other bill. This is not a distinctive email designed to alert.

10-14 days before your contract ends, VM send out either an email or letter reminding you and letting you know what happens next, along with any offers available.    This will also be available to view online in My Virgin Media from the date you receive your letter or email.

Each bill or email advising of the upcoming bill shows any discounts you have and the date they end.  See screenshot.   The same information is also available on your account contract which you agree  to when signing up with VM or recontracting.

It is your responsibility to check your emails, including spam/junk folders if you haven't marked VM and a safe sender, and you should also advise VM if you change your contact email address.
