New subscriber but can't link O2 account with Virgin Media Account

I ordered a broadband package and set up an account, when instructed to link the account to virgin media it says the email is already linked to another account and when I put the email for the previous account in it says it's incorrect when I've only used that email before

    Sorry to hear you're having an issue linking your accounts.

    We're currently aware of this issue for new customers and are looking to fix this as soon as possible.

    In the meantime, can you please try the same steps again using Bing as a web browser?
