Netflix with ads

Just renewed my contract with virgin,the excact same package for an extra £12 but my netflix account has changed fron standard to standard with ads.

Can anyone help me with this?

    You and many others. VM say this is because Netflix have changed their packages, but they leave you to find this out after you have signed up. 

    Unless you have it in writing that you will get Netflix without ads, you will just have to accept it.

    We're sorry to hear your new package isn't what you thought. All packages with Netflix included are now Netflix Standard with Ads. If you would prefer the service without ads, you would need to upgrade your package via Netflix. 

    Before you agreed to the package change, you would have been sent a pre-contract document, detailing what was included. In the TV section, this will show Netflix Standard with Ads. If this is the case, you would need to pay for any upgrade to Netflix Standard. This would be added on top of your monthly service price. 

    If it shows as Netflix Standard, and the cost on the document shows as the same as your monthly service charge, let us know so we can help further.
