Netflix with ads

I have just renewed my contract with virgin and have had Netflix downgraded to Netflix with ads. I was told that this was just a default & that I could log onto my Netflix account & change this to the standard Netflix for no additional cost. When I did this it says it will charge me £6/month more & add it onto my virgin bill. It then has an * to say that actual price may be lower depending on your agreement with virgin. How do I find out if I'll actually be billed the additional cost or not in advance of signing up for the standard Netflix option?

    Sorry to hear there seems to have been an issue with your Netflix subscription following a renewal of your package. 

    All of our packages by default that include Netflix, would be the Netflix with Ads option, so this will be why it's been downgraded after renewing your deal. However we should have advised this more clearly at the time of processing this through for you.
