Netflix Activation Error

When I click on the "Activate Netflix" button it just spits out the following error code.
"Sorry, something’s gone wrong! We’re having some technical issues. Please try again later."

I've tried on two different browsers, both on mobile and on desktop.
I dont already have a Netflix account.

Never got any email about activating Netflix or anything at any time.
