Get bills older than 12 months

Hi,

I need bills older than 12 months for tax returns.

I was told on the phone with an agent that I would need to go through a solicitor to get these. But after searching, I can see a thread here where the customer was told they could get bills from outwith the 12 month period, at a cost of £2 per bill.

Which is it, please?

Thanks

  • Hi jimanu,

Thanks for posting and welcome to our community 🙂

Sorry for any confusion regarding copy bills, if this is a standard copy bill we can arrange this at £2 per copy.

If this is for a full breakdown of call itemisations for a court order for example, it's not something we can do without it going through a solicitor.

As you're wanting a standard copy bill I've popped you over a private message to get a few more details from you.

      Hi Alex,

      I have a similar issue.

I have a few accounts with VM but recently closed one.   Whilst I still have access to it and can view my bills from November 2023, I cannot view the older bills and require them.

      Please could you help.

      Thanks, Jas

Hi Jazzy2 👋 Thank you for your post and welcome to the Virgin Media Community 😀

In order to look into this for you, we'll send you a private message on here. Look out for the envelope in the top right-hand corner.

If you're on a portable device with a smaller screen, click on the icon in the top right-hand corner and select "messages" from the additional menu options.

        Regards,
        Daniel

  • You can get 18 months worth of bills via your online VM account. Many companies go back longer than this and I think that two years should be the bare minimum if people are using paperless billing.
You can phone Customer Service and they will be happy to give you the totals further back than that at no cost. Make sure you tell them that it is only the total that you want, I don't think they will give you the full breakdown.
