FAO: VM customer support re: contract fee query
Hopefully a VM representative – or someone more knowledgeable than I – can please assist me with the following:
Having recently moved house and transferred my existing VM Broadband and TV package, my new account mentions that my next bill ‘will be £120.55* which includes £54.14 to cover your changes up until your next bill period. There is also a one-off charge of £20.00 for installation or activation.’
Given that the price for my agreed package is stated at £41.00 a month, please can you explain precisely what the £120.55 charge is for and whether this includes the '£20.00 installation or activation charge'?
I ask because I am puzzled by what the term that this £120.55 payment will 'cover your changes up until your next bill period' means. Thank you in advance.
