Charged activation fee for which I was not advised?

Hi,

I have a £35 charge on my first bill, but this wasn't advised to me at any point of the sign up process, nor included in the quotes from the sales team. Did anyone else have this, and what is the easiest way to have it refunded?

Would prefer not to suffer the wait times of customer service for an error on VM's part.
