Another Netflix Activation Issue
There seems to me quite a few reports of problems being reported when trying to activate the free Netflix package currently being offered with some packages.
I'm another one with problems; I renewed my contract recently for one that included the free Netflix offer. I could not find any way to activate the package. I searched online for solutions, but nothing worked. I tried to set up a Netflix account by pressing on the Netflix tile, but I was only offered a paid package. I checked my account and could not find any links.
Therefore, I contacted customer support at on Monday this week and explained the problem. Customer support promised me that an activation link would be email to me within 24-36 hours. However, 5 days later and no activation email has been received - somehow, I'm not surprised after reading of similar problems.
I find Virgin Media customer support very slow and frustrating. They waste so much of their time having to revisit ongoing issues rather than sort them out first time which then has a significant knock-on effect. Result is a slow and laborious process.
Guess I'm going to have to bite the bullet and be prepared for another 45mins on the phone to customer support trying to sort this out - unless anyone out there has another solution!
