2 gig to 1 gig

I have recently got 2 gig and to be honest most of my devices are only 1 gig compatable so 2 gig is no use at present.can i downgrade to 1 gig if i take another package like virgin stream as well ?

    Yes you can downgrade or just cancel and sign up again

You can downgrade your connection speed by getting in touch with our team, we cannot help from here but you can give the team a call on 150 from a Virgin Media landline or 0345 454 1111 opt 1, 4 and 4 again, this will get you through to the contracts team who will be able to look into this further for you.

    If you are outside the cooling off period, the downgrade may be seen by VM as an early termination of the 2Gb service and a start of the 1 Gb service.  Early termination fees can be the full price of all the cancelled months, that would make the 1Gb service cost close to double the current rate.

    So, be careful.
