I joined 2 months ago, I got 500Mbps on day 1 but not since, had to make complaints as never installed correctly at start, Internet speed test are all over the place, was offered a pod and 8 pound credit monthly to cover cost, nearly 2 weeks no pod arrived, messaged asking them to check how long, now asking me for evidence of pod... so frustrating am considering ombudsman next. Any advice welcome.73Views0likes8CommentsDrop in speed from Hub 3 as router to TP Link
Hi all, I have VM 250Mbps package with Hub 3. When using the hub as router I am getting 250Mbps+ speeds, no issues. When using my TP Link C7 AC1750 router and Hub 3 in Modem <ode, the WiFi speed drops to 100Mbps. I am using good quality (based on reviews?) ethernet cable to link the two (Cat7). TP Link C7, I believe, has sufficiently fast internet port to take the 250Mmps from Hub 3, so this shouldn't be an issue either. I also have 3x mesh devices (TP Link RE450), but I don't thinks that's relevant here. What do I need to do to get my TP Link router do 250Mbps, instead of the 100Mbps..?423Views0likes22CommentsUp to 1Gb/s Internet speed contract Ireland
Hi Team, For the past few days I have been getting between 20Mb-30Mb download speeds. This is a farcry from the "up to 1000Mb" I should be getting. I understand its unrealistic to get 1000Mb but I've never hit over 550Mb. I am on a wired ethernet connection about 3 meters away from the Cable. My contract is about ~1 month old. The chat support doesnt actually go anywhere im convinced there are no agents even working on the live chat as the bot just keeps looping. How can I improve my speeds if support is IMPOSSIBLE to contact + How do I view what my minimum guaranteed speed is I cant see it ANYWHERE on my contract.563Views0likes1CommentCharged for wrong speed for 18 months!
My 18 months contract was up for renewal so called to see what my options were. We'd always been a 500mb customer and recently upgraded to a VOLT 1Gig package. To my surprise (shock), I was told the maximum speed at my property had ALWAYS been 350mb. This means I've been potentially overpaying hugely for the past 18 months, despite any discount offered. Anyone else experienced this and claimed compensation back as such. I have the documents stating that all of these services were put in place, we even had some guys come over and dig up the road for the 1GIG updated! Thanks, A529Views0likes5Comments
