I joined 2 months ago, I got 500Mbps on day 1 but not since, had to make complaints as never installed correctly at start, Internet speed test are all over the place, was offered a pod and 8 pound credit monthly to cover cost, nearly 2 weeks no pod arrived, messaged asking them to check how long, now asking me for evidence of pod... so frustrating am considering ombudsman next. Any advice welcome.

I have some things wired sometimes they show 500Mbps but more often half the speed mostly low as  4, 5, 6, 7 Mbps

  • Were you offered the free pod rental via the VM forum team from last time you posted?

  • I read that Sam knows only shows what box is capable of, this seems correct as when connection is bad ie nothing works google Internet speed test and ookla shows bad speed but Sam knows shows max speed connection. I was advised a pod will be sent and a 8 pound credit will be added every month until end of contract. I emailed asking them to check my call as was 100% told it be with me in a couple of days, and to call back 2 weeks after if still not improved. I wasn't offered anything from forum team.

You really should not of got the pod

The hub is bad for wifi you should send the pod back and make sure they don't take £8 every month then just look for a better router with 1Gb ports and put hub in modem mode

I haven't received a pod, only given a credit. Seems crazy to buy a router. Any recommendations plus would need a video or link on how to set up.
