replacement cover
We have just bought our first home and unfortunately on the days we got the keys to our property, the lid/cover has disappeared and would like it covered asap. virgin was previously installed when we moved in so chose to stick with virgin have since had the WIFI box delivered, but I cannot seem to get be able to get in touch with Virgin to be able to sort a replacement out! we have also found our WiFi isn’t operating as fast as it should be! The Red light has appeared on my hub 3 a few days back. I have reset and still remains. I’ve tried to speak to someone at Virgin but get caught in an endless cycle of automated responses. Looking through this community I see that I likely need a new hub but can see no way of actually arranging to get one. I noticed a problem with my SH4 in modem mode, it still responds / web ui loads on the 2 default lan ips? I've tried several factory resets but it's still the same? I have been trying to get a replacement via support web chat but rhe my virgin media app doesn't get past a your hub needs a reset. Hi: My Super Hub 2 has started acting-up. Does anyone know how to request a replacement? It was in modem mode, but stopped working, so I disconnected all ethernet and performed a full pinhole reset as instructed by the support webpages. This got it working somewhat in normal (non-modem) mode, but the wifi only works well for around 15 minutes, before dropping all connections, requiring a restart (or sometimes another reset). I've gone round in circles several times on the website, but the support pages don't seem to progress beyond recommending a reset and advising me on reconnecting WIFI before starting the whole reset recommendation again. I have the Sagemcom Hub 5X and unfortunately the white fiber optic cable between the internal box and the hub has been damaged. This isn't the coax cable which seems to be the only one that I'm being offered when calling customer services. This is the thing white fiber cable with the green ends. I don't seem to be able to find the same cable elsewhere and I feel if I organise the £25 call out, dll they are going to send out with the engineer is the coax cable. I have the dreaded solid red power light on my hub 3. I have reset hub, turned off for 15 minutes and rebooted to no avail. It is in a well ventilated area and hasn’t got any build up of dust in vents or ports. I have read that the hub should be replaced if this happens as it has been a couple of weeks of trying to get rid of the light. Is this correct? How quickly can I get this resolved?
