Watching recorded programmes on Windows 11 laptop
I have installed Virgin TV Go on my Samsung tablet, my Samsung smartphone and my Windows 11 laptop. I am able to watch live programmes on all devices and recorded programmes on the two Android devices. However, when I attempt to watch exactly the same recorded programmes on the laptop, they are all marked as "Only on Virgin TV Box" or, alternatively, "This programme can only be played on your Virgin TV Box". Please advise on how one can watch recordings on Windows 11 laptops, or is there a software upgrade to overcome this problem?Solved1.8KViews0likes4CommentsDelete this recording from storage not working correctly
After the most recent update, V5.14, when I finish watching a recorded programme, I no longer get asked to delete the recording. I have checked and I still have the "Ask to delete after watching" option on. Before the latest update, I used to get the "Delete this recording from storage?" prompt with an option to either "Delete" or "Keep". However, now, in order to get this prompt to appear, I now need to watch the recorded programme, go back to the recordings list or home screen, then start watching again. At thus point j stop to the end and I then get the "Delete thus recording....." prompt and I am able to then choose delete or keep. This same problem has just started happening to me today when it was working fine 48 hrs ago. I've got all the info above but whenever I try to private message ModTeam it gives error message Correct the highlighted errors and try again. Your post has been changed because invalid HTML was found in the message body. The invalid HTML has been removed. Please review the message and send the message when you are satisfied. There is no HTML in my message and no highlighted errors, whenever I try to send it just keeps popping up with the above. Please advise how to send my diagnostic information and get Virgin TV Go working again to watch recordings. My tv is glitching so badly from the bottom of the screen upwards when watching certain channels or certain recordings. It makes them unwatchable and then we end up just having to delete them. Ive gone through all the help on the app with the box and broadband. It says i have an issue but just keeps telling me to restart the box which i have done numerous times and im trying to chat to anyone online but it doesnt allow me to use that option. Help please!!!! Hi, forgetting all the technology! Anyway I logged on last week and found my contract has ended so I used the online chat and have ended up with a new contract that will send me a Hub 5 tomorrow. I forgot to ask for a transcript and don't have any emails about this new contract. Will connecting this new Hub 5 delete the 79% of recordings in my box, I think it is a TiVo? And do I need to be paying £90 a month? It's just me and my husband, receive more landline calls than make them, have one old TV, need good broadband and good selection of TV channels (and Netflix) but would not have a clue how to play games!Solved997Views0likes1CommentV6 box recordings - recover/back up recordings?
As the title suggests, we're due an engineer today as our V6 box is seemingly dying, is there any way to recover/back up recordings? This happened previously 3 years ago with a former box, lost hours of unique unwatched sporting events, and seemingly gonna happen again, can anyone on the Virgin Media side help, as I assume it'll just be binned, much to our disappointment again... Hello 8pm ish recordings unavailable switched off at wall - rebooted checked cables etc box connected via ethernet Cs3440 also ‘recently recorded programs’ have disappeared from home screen On demand/movies/box sets/watchlists all appear to be working Been on help call for 95 mins - no doubt it will hang up when 11pm comes around any ideas on what to do please?Solved2.9KViews0likes14Comments
