Stuck on Welcome page
Received our new 360 handset a couple of days ago, the installation/set went ok after a couple of glitches and we enjoyed an evening of TV, everything looked pretty good. Day 2, watched one hour and then the screen froze, told me we there was a fault and Live TV was not available. Next the box seemed to reboot itself to the Welcome page and despite numerous attempts, switching off, rebooting holding Power and + keys etc., we are stuck on Welcome or Please Wait pages. Half an hour of this and I’ve given up. Is it worth phoning 150 ? What are the other options? I see that we’re not the only ones who have had this problem.76Views0likes3CommentsHub 5 Needs rebooting daily
Had a Hub 5 for about 3-4 months, and over the past month I’m needing to switch my hub off and on again at least once a day. It just loses connection for some reason, and this seems to sort it. virgin seemed to notice when it first started, and apparently offered to send an engineer out (which I never got an email asking for), but now I can’t seem to get anyone out. ive followed all the troubleshooting steps, but nothing seems to improve it. i used to have a TP link router and this ran with no issues, and if things don’t improve I’m going to have to go back to it I think. my 2 kids are getting really annoyed with our “crappy new broadband”, but I thought this Hub 5 was supposed to be an improvement?Solved861Views0likes7CommentsRemote Reboot
I have the exact same issue. I have to reboot the router by switching it off and on. This is a business router too. There's no pattern to it and the logs don't seem to be clear or persist after a reboot (I'm not sure if there's any way of persisting them? I'd like to remotely reboot the router too. I have a SIM card dongle attached to the router too and that doesn't kick in when it should either. It's a CHITA router and I use my own router for the WiFi as the router is really poor (even the engineers recommended I set it to be a proxy to the VM network)437Views0likes2Comments
