Charged for local phone call on anytime chatter
Hi, I have been charged a high amount for phoning a local number even though I have anytime chatter. It's almost a £10 charge which is a lot. Please can someone help me understand this or remove this charge as it shouldn't be there?62Views0likes4CommentsAdditional Netflix charges £12 a month?
Who do I speak to about VM charging me nearly £20 extra a month despite my contract for Netflix which IS included in my Mega Volt package? I have now spent HOURS on the phone where I was told it is either me, or Netflix adding these to my invoice. It is a joke, and recently renewed VM contact - exactly the same - and I should have trusted my gut and not renew it. I will give the broadband where I live is pot on and hardly ever breaks, but the pricing and billing and the CS is ridiculous. I would like to speak to someone who can actually help me and stop these charges and not being sent to Netflix people?31Views0likes1CommentNetflix billed incorrectly by Virgin Media
Several months and hours of phone calls with Virgin Media I am still being overcharged for my Netflix. My bundle includes Standard with Ads, which is what I want. I am however billed for Premium, at £13 extra every month which is what I don't want. Every single customer "advisor" I've spoken to has given conflicting answers. What I haven't heard yet however is advice that works. One told me to call Netflix as they apparently would change it. Another told me they've changed it on the system and next billing cycle will be with Standard with Ads. One told me I would get a refund / credit applied. Another told me I can change it on the setting myself, which sounds great, except unfortunately does not work for me as I keep getting a technical error message every time I try. Despite me explaining this issue multiple times, none of the people I've spoken to have helped although various vaguely helpful noises are being made. What I want should be simple to provide - change my Netflix billing to what I've agreed for it to be and refund the extra charges that I have not asked for. It's the fourth month now of being charged too much. This is very disappointing as I've gone all bells and whistles in the contract so paying a lot already. I'd rather Virgin Media just sort this out as opposed to me having to complain to Ofcom. Very conveniently Virgin Media complaint form on their website is now also giving technical error messages...51Views0likes5CommentsOvercharged
When my contract ended I arranged a new contract and was happy with the price.i have since been charged £178 a month every month for the last 10 months I was told a manager would sort the over payment out but it has never happened they are now saying that I owe over £1200 in over payments. I asked if this was the case how come I was not cut off after a month or so as I no friends have been cut off after a month if they owed anything over £80 I was told that I had not been cutoff as I had a vulnerability marker on my account which I have never stated being vulnerable or needing any help I have asked numerous times what the vulnerability maker is and no one can tell me.I then asked the question do you think it's fair to treat someone who you have marked down as being vulnerable by charging them a extra £108 a month ontop of there agreed bill which they simply would not answer. I have been with virgin for 15YEARS so know how the contacts work they have now said that I have not even been paying my agreed amount which is taken out of my bank every month with out fail.I have now got to send proof of this which is not a problem. I ring them get put through to payments I explaine my situation they say we can not do anything I need to speak to customer service so they put me through.I then explain the same thing to them and they say they can not help me it need to be sorted by the payment department.I have been past back and forth around 8 times now and have got absolutely no were. If you stay loyal to virgin you get punished as new customers always get offered a better deal. Why is this ? I see i am 1 of many this has happened to and this is really stressing me out.Who would pay £178 a month for a tv package that I was quoted £71 can someone please help me on what I can do next as spending another 5 hours on the phone to them is to stressful and I can not do it82Views0likes2CommentsAccount overcharged complaint
Just saw that my account was charged £111.72 this month instead of the usual monthly £34 charge. The bill says the package was £57 and the package change cost was £57 plus some amount owed from the last bill. This is outrageous as I have not changed package and renewed on an offer to keep the same monthly cost back in April. There was an incident where my account was cancelled abruptly due to the moving team’s mistake. I had no internet for a week and was promised that this will be compensated in my next bill. Not only wasn’t I compensated but I was charged even more!2.1KViews1like2Comments
