Charged for local phone call on anytime chatter

Hi,

I have been charged a high amount for phoning a local number even though I have anytime chatter.

It's almost a £10 charge which is a lot.

Please can someone help me understand this or remove this charge as it shouldn't be there?

Did the call last more than 60 min? The call becomes chargeable for the minutes after 1 hour.

When calling standard landline & mobile numbers, the first 60 minutes of the call are included in your package. Any additional minutes are then charged at the normal rate unless you hang up & start a new call. This is normal for landline packages.

      Hello Shailaa,

Welcome back to the Community and thanks for taking the time to post. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with charges for a phone call. As nodrogd advised you would be charged at the normal rate after the first 60 mins of a call. Did your local call last longer than an hour?

      Kind Regards,

Good advice already re the 60 minute rule.

To avoid doubt, what do you mean by a "local" call? Was this call to a landline prefixed 01, 02 or 03? The geographical location of the called phone is immaterial.
