Unable to login to ntlworld.com sub account
Hey there, I am the primary account holder for my account. I created a subaccount many years ago for my son and he's used it ever since. Both accounts are ntlworld.com We noticed since the 20th October he's not been receiving rerouted emails to his gmail. To rectify this, we attempted to login on the website using the sub account. The last password we had does not work and the secret questions do not work, despite us knowing they're correct. We've tried to call a couple times but gotten nowhere, can someone here help us? We just need the password on the sub account resetting so he can log in again. The main account is linked, the sub account isn't. I cancelled my Virgin Media account in November 2020. My email accounts, which are all @ntlworld accounts should have been deleted after 90 days but they are all still active and 1 has been hacked and is sending out spam messages from what appears to be my account. Hi, I needed to change my password for my ntlworld email. To do this I was prompted to change my sign in email so I changed this to another email address. Hello, I went to check my e mail this morning as I do every morning and for some reason I was logged out of my account, it's always logged in and has never randomly logged out before. I went to sign back in but the passwords I tried didn't work so I clicked on 'forgotten password', I put in my email (which is an @ntlworld.com e mail), date of birth & answer to my security question, double and triple checked everything is correct but it constantly tells me something is wrong and I can't change my password. All of the info is 100% correct so I'm at a loss of how I can get back into my account? So currently have no access to my e mail or VM account. We have been trying to reset the password on my son’s @ntlworld.com account very unsuccessfully. We have tried the “verify another way” and the verification email is one that we don’t recognise and therefore have no access to. Having spent over an hour on the phone again today being passed around various departments there still seems to be no one that can correct what could be a fraudulent verification email in an attempt to block my son’s access to his email! Dear VM Team I am unable to log into my very old ntlworld account and cannot remember the password. As with others it suddenly asked for my password. I have a new media broadband account, however this is not linked to the old email address as I use a gmail account for this so cannot create a new password. I have no access to the ntlworld account - are you able to reset this for me please and am I able to divert and possibly delete the account so this doesn't happen again? I deleted folder in my NTLWorld email in the Outlook 2024 desktop version without issue, but it still reappears in my Gmail app despite various googled solutions. Any ideas as the folder is not showing in VM webmail in browser. What on earth ARE you doing VIRGIN? Your EMail system is in total disarray! We have three laptops, all up to date on Windows 11 and all using Outlook to access. Each one is now suddenly treating the connection very differently! Only one is now working to a virginmedia mail address, so forget it being only a legacy address issue. That one also still currently works to a very busy ntlworld address used for Freeware user contact. The other two have totally differing actions from the same virginmedia address, one now telling me there is unread mail, but not displaying it on Outlook OR online web access. This does not include one ntlworld connection severed without warning a year ago now, Despite numerous requests, NO help given, NOTHING offered. This was my wife's account used for extensive volunteer work, inc elderly and disabled people access. Killed stone dead without warning. It took months to get an alternative EMail system working elsewhere as many mail recipients just could not cope with the no warning sudden loss of all comms. SO, from other posts here and elsewhere numerous people are increasingly experiencing this sort of disaster from VIRGIN. Well, there IS a next stage if this unhelpful lack of action continues, and that is to go VERY public.
