Ntlworld email password change
Hello, I am trying to reset my email password - I have continued to use my original @ntlworld.com email from way back and have only ever had access to this email address through the Apple Mail app on my iPhone. Unfortunately, there was some kind of hacking incident and I really need to change my emails password. I have tried to access my mailbox through the Virgin Media online portal but this was met with an error message saying emails cannot be displayed. I have a number of very important emails that I cannot just stop using the account. I do not have a linked/related virgin media email account and know of no way to change my password. This email address is also the one I use to sign up to everything for and I have outstanding bookings and tickets etc attached to this account so not having access is a major issue. My question is, how do I go about changing my ntlworld password? I am reluctant to do anything until I have the process confirmed because of the hacked issue and potentially locking myself out entirely and losing everything. I’m aware that VM stopped supporting NTL World email addresses but I’m really hoping that you can help or guide me at the very least. Hello, My mother in law's Ntlworld email account has been hacked - she received a ransom email then shortly after was locked out completely. She had this email from when she was a customer around 20 years ago therefore understandably doesnt have the account number or security password therefore livechat help isnt working as they keep asking for these details. I know the original address and landline number if this can help in retrieving her account - she doesnt understand any of this therefore i am trying to recover on her behalf
Need to change password on Blueyonder email
Hi, hope someone can help. I am an ex VM customer. When I left, I was told my email addresses would be deleted in 90 days. 5 years later they havent been, but hackers have now got access to my Blueyonder email address and the password. VM no longer gives me the facility to log on and change the password, but has left the email account active. This means hacker is trying to gain access to other online accounts etc by exploiting their access to my email account. How can I change the password on my Blueyonder email address or even just completely disable/delete the email address?Getting threating emails from myself
My email account got hacked a few months back thanks to ntl's old rubbish password requirements not allowing me to have a strong password. The email went on about having easily hacked my account, even going to provide my log in details to prove it, and then threaten to release videos they totally had of me by hacking my web cam etc (Which I don't ever have plugged in). Needless to say I did everything I could to boot them out. Changed my passwords to much more secure passwords now that the requirements were decent. I checked all my rules and there were none there. Checked forwarding and nothing. I even changed the app password and the email I used for logging onto my account. I still seem to be getting emails from these hackers using my email and I'm confused as to how. I checked the headers etc to see if it was a spoof but as far as I can tell it's not. Virgin Media doesn't seem to have any way of contacting someone on their support team about email so I am forced to post on here. If anyone from Virgin Media sees this please get in contact so that we can get to the bottom of this. I'd be quite happy just to have you push a button and kick out all sessions so I know that no one else has access still. Not that I think they have much access otherwise I feel they'd be doing a lot more damage rather than threats they aren't going ahead with.blueyonder email hacked, can't login, please help
Hi, my old email account [MOD EDIT: Removed] has been hacked. I can't log in anymore with the password that has been working for years. I have imap set up on the Thunderbird client which was successfully logging in and until today. Recent phishing emails in thunderbird state that my email has been hacked and they have stated my password for that email account also which is also very concerning. I've changed my passwords on all my other apps etc but I obviously can log into this email. As i understand it, the VM team can help delete my account. Please help as obviously I don't want the hackers to use my email maliciously. Hope to hear from you soon! Thanks in advance. Edwin
