Replacement HUB not recognised on VM Connect App
Hi, please can someone help me Today I was given a replacement Hub (Hub 5.0 not "x") but my VM Connect App will not recognise it no matter what I do, I have followed all instructions, I have even rebooted and reset, I have also cleared the app's data and cache, signed out and back in again and still it won't recognise the new hub, it even tells me to connect my phone to the WiFi, which it already is connected to my new Hub 5.0 so not even sure why it gives this error? Any Help is Much Appreciated ThanksSolved416Views0likes7CommentsVM connect not connecting to hub 4
Hi, my hub was installed by the engineer months ago, but it never connected to the app. I contacted Virgin as our internet has been a bit laggy and they sent a new hub4. This one also won’t connect to the app. I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling etc and I just get “hub not found”. When I go to 192.168.0.1 the page doesn’t load. I’ve tried reading through these posts as it seems loads of people have issues but I don’t know what else to do. Customer service suggested that I contact the “chat” for some assistance, and they are sending me another pod. But with my hub and pods not connecting to the VM Connect app, I just don’t know what else to do…435Views0likes2CommentsVM Connect not connecting to Hub 4
I want to use the VM Connect app to control devices on my home network (in particular to reduce screen time for my kids who seem to have ways and means to bypass other OEM apps). Unfortunately the app keeps giving an error that it can’t find my Hub 4. I’ve uninstalled/ reinstalled the app on my phone, rebooted the hub, check cabling etc but no joy. Internet is working fine. Can anyone please help?418Views0likes2CommentsHub 4 not found in Connect App
I can see that many people have reported a similar problem but despite every single troubleshooting step including the good old 60sec reset, my VM Connect app still cannot find the hub. In terms of providing the Internet connection and Wi-Fi, that is working however the hub and Connect app don’t seem to be able to talk to each other. I’m hoping a member of staff can reach out to me from this forum post and find a resolution. I have already called a few days ago and had a discussion on the phone but no resolution achieved.711Views0likes8CommentsVM Connect can't find hub 5 - yet another thread
Had broadband installed for a week and can't get the VM Connect app to find my hub so i can check my wi-fi blackspots. Have tried all the advice in previous threads: rebooted the router disabled mobile data enabled location checked no vpn deleted and re-installed app All to same result can't connect and message saying "Oops, something went wrong. Click on the icon to view or pull to refresh your network overview." Every thread i've seen says this is a priority issue, but I've seen multiple threads dating back over 18 months, how can i rectify this? TIA John568Views0likes5CommentsVM Connect Can't Find Hub
My VM Connect app cannot find my Hub 3. This has not been a problem previously. I have deleted and reloaded the app. I have also deleted the wifi from my phone and re-connected. The wifi is working fine for all other purposes. The mobile phone uses the router for mobile calls. So why can't the Virgin Connect app find the router??393Views0likes1CommentVM Connect app showing a laptop device as a TV Box
Decided to try out the VM Connect app, seems to have potential but when I was looking at the Virgin media devices that are connect to the hub, I noticed it said I have a Virgin TV Box connected. After some investigation, I found out that the mac address belongs to my wife's work laptop. Not much of an issue but as an example, if I wanted to pause the internet to that device, I wouldn't be able to as VM Connect doesnt offer pausing capability if the Hub deems the device a Virgin device (TV box, Pod, etc.) Anyone have a similar issue? Any fixes?463Views0likes1Comment
