Despite the negative reviews on Trustpilot I would rate 8/10. 1 point deduction because of their Hub 3 & 4 and 1 point for their customer service robots. But otherwise got what I paid for. Now Openreach have installed FTTP so I wanted to try out this new tech. All the best everyone. Re: Is this a good connection..appreciate your feeback I have redone the cables for the router connection and wall. Only the Sky Q and a single powerline connected to my sons bedroom wired. This is the latest. Its been very reliable apart from the odd street maitanance disruption and price has been very good value for money. The Wi-Fi is taken care by my own router. VM won't do anything as its not considered broken. I am considering jump to a Openreach 300 or 500 package. Sky are strange with TP-Link router so my options are Plusnet or Vodafone. The question is will I get better result with Openreach. I have read poor reviews about Vodafone, but then again VM is cursed and its given me very little issues for near 5 years. Re: Is this a good connection..appreciate your feeback I hope so 😀..its linked to my connection Re: Is this a good connection..appreciate your feeback The signals all within range that may explain very reliable connection. Until recently VM was the only to get anything faster than FTTC 35Mbs. Some are slowly jumping ship..my opposite neigbour had Openreach engineer instal FTTP couple weeks ago. Just thinking if the grass is greener on the other side with Openreach. This is Sat graph..no homeworking. Re: Is this a good connection..appreciate your feeback Just want to add that I work from home office hours Re: Is this a good connection..appreciate your feeback Is this a good connection..appreciate your feeback Hello all This is a typical monitor for me...is this bad???. I have seen some people with a smooth green. Approaching nearly 5 years with VM and next renewal in few months. Connection has always been stable and I have been using my own router since 2nd week after join VM. Now Openreach have connected to our street I am considering my options. SolvedRe: M250 and Phone Package at £65.50. No Discount Offered This is a official Virgin media forum. If you need independant guidance how to save money then go on Reddit and you will get tips. But yes its typical of company to upsell a product making you feel its better value for money when you don't need the upgrade. Re: Omnibox cover missing Damn right that looks ugly.. looks like a spaghetti junction It you not using their service then remove all the cables and boxes inside and outside attched to your property wall. Then fit this cap at the joint near near the ground and fit a small weather proof box like "Wiska 206" to protect against the elements. As you not a customer..Virgin will not waste any time. https://www.amazon.co.uk/F-Type-Terminator-Cap-Coaxial-Satellite-Connector/dp/B01LTBJ5JA Re: Exterior wall box broken Its just a weatherproof box covering a cable joint. I threw away the original box and fitted a better quality box from Screwfix.
