Since my original post I have purchased a new PC. I then noticed that both SSIDs were being listed as available networks. I connected to the new SSID and made it my default. Now seems to have been resolved. Both SSIDs worked, but I was having problem with some remote apps connecting to my PC. Where both devices had to be on the same network, it looks like they were seeing it as two different networks. Free Wifi Pod - Scam or Genuine? "Your WiFi at home could do with a boost, so we'd like to send you a WiFi Pod at no extra cost. Check your email inbox or junk folder to find out more." I received this message and an email offering me a free Wifi pod. Is it genuine? I checked my email I received one that looks genuine and appears to have come from Virgin Media. Re: Hub 5 Old SSID? Sorry, I did not get a notification of your reply. My PC has been rebooted many times but it still indicates that it's connected to the old SSID. Re: Cheerio @blueyonder Did it work for you? Re: Hub 5 Old SSID? It's OK on the laptop and other devices. It's only on my PC that I see the problem. Re: Hub 5 Old SSID? I'm using the new password and I don't use boosters. Hub 5 Old SSID? Hi, My old hub was recently replaced with a Hub 5. This is working OK but it is connecting to the old SSID and the new one is not listed on the available connections. It's showing the connection as VM1234nnn 2 where nnn is the old ID instead of VM1234new, which is the new number. When I try to access the Hub settings online it is rejecting my password despite already being logged on with this password. My mobile phone, tablet and laptop all connect to the new ID with no issues. When I try o connect to the hub settings using my mobile it again rejects the password, again while connected to the wifi using this password. It seems to be working OK but I would like it to be sorted and also be able to access my hub settings. Any ideas? Could it be a local setting on my PC? Re: Re: Hub 3 constant red light All sorted now. Re: Upgrade to 360 not happening Actually I'm not from Uddingston, I'm in Balloch.
