Most of the buttons are working OK - but the 'TV'; 'Info' ones aren't working, plus the 'Guide' button doesn't always respond and needs pressing a few times to view the guide. Additionally I've noticed that it needs to be pointed at the Tivo box at a certain angle for the box to respond. I have found ways around these problems but I'm concerned that eventually it will stop working altogether and before you ask I have changed the batteries :) Matthew_ML wrote: A new remote can be paired to the box very easy however we cannot guarantee the remote will control your TV set though I've never been able to successfully pair the Tivo remote to my Samsung TV so have always used the Samsung one to control the TV and the Tivo one to control the box so that shouldn't be a problem. Re: Trying to login to My Account to check emails Just to add - the page hangs after I have entered my login details (username and password). It's almost as if it just can't find me ! I've also checked Service Status and that appears to be fine with no problems with my device or in my area. Every time I try to get in again it just goes straight to the hanging loggin in page - I can't even try siging out and in again as I can't get in in the first place 😖 Trying to login to My Account to check emails Trying to login to My Virgin Media Account to check my emails but login page is just hanging and going nowhere ? When I click on Account Settings to edit my password I'm asked to verify my identity Before you verify your identity, we need you to change your sign in email address to one that isn’t from Virgin Media. Otherwise, if we send the code to your Virgin Media email address you might not be able to access it. Problem is I only have the one email address with VM and am not IT savvy enough to set up any other email address. How do I change my email password My Blueyonder email account has just downloaded over 4000 to Outlook on checking my VM Blueyonder account I found a spam email which indicates that my Blueyonder account has been hacked so I need/want to change my password. Unfortunately I don't know anyone else with a Sky package that includes a landline home phone that I could try ringing 🙁 I am in contact via pm with VM and their last message included this statement "we have found that there has been some issues between certain numbers when the switchover occurs, its not a Virgin Fault or other Providers fault, its just a prefix that does not work well against the new phone system and asked me to check what does the number start with, and one of the numbers was 5. " 🙄 If that is the case then there mus many thousands of people whose phone number starts with 5 potentially affected by this issue. Waiting on further information today. On a side note - I'm being slow in replying to your questions because I'm not getting notifications by email of replies to this topic so have to keep logging back in to check for replies. I've looked but can't see anywhere to check that notifications are turned on.
