Re: Recent 360 upgrade - slight issue with second box The box in the lounge is a v6 box - the second box in the kitchen which has replaced the TiVo box is a 360 mini box which is now connected via the WiFi. For further clarification it is the video which lags and not the audio. When I switch on the second box- the audio is on straight away the video then appears after a short while on the tv. Re: Recent 360 upgrade - slight issue with second box Thanks for the reply - the second box is a new 360 box but is connected via WiFi - so it is I suppose an IP box so your reply would make sense Recent 360 upgrade - slight issue with second box I have upgraded to 360 with a second box in my kitchen. Since the upgrade I have noted that there is a lag when I switch on the tv with a lag between the audio which starts straight away and the video which takes a little while to show. I had mentioned this online and because I had an engineer appointment for something else they suggested that I mention this with the engineer. He said that it was down to my tv (which is a toshiba model) the same as my main model in the lounge which hasn't got the same issue. Any suggestions as this wasn't evident when I had the Tivo box previously in the kitchen. Thanks in advance Black wifi pod - connection issue I am growing a little cheesed off now. I am beginning to despair with VM at the moment and I'm beginning to wish that I hadn't upgraded to a hub 5 - I am now having wifi connection issues. I have received a delivery of a black wifi pod today and basically it is now powered up in the same room as my new hub and the light is blinking white slowly - it should really connect in the same room but is obviously not connecting. These wifi pods clearly do not work - and I was wondering as to whether any body else has used a different system - its just as well that I haven't paid for this bit of kit as I'm sorry to say its a complete load of c**p. Any solutions anybody!! Proverbial Speed Issue with new hub 5 router Hi there Had a new hub 5 installed yesterday - did a speedtest albeit on my iphone and I was getting download speeds averaging between 690-720 Mbps and upload maxing at 105 Mbps late last night and this morning only maxing download at 160 Mbps with the upload speed maxing at about 80 Mbps. I have got a wireless immersion heater timer which only could connect at 2.4 ghz (so I disabled the 5.0ghz setting) to enable the timer to connect. Thinking that this was the answer for why the speed had reduced, I reinstated the 5.0ghz setting, checked the speed and the speed was reduced. I have reset the router online and can still connect, although was then advised that there appered to be an intermittent signal issue, although the service status online says that there is no broadband issue within my area. Any thoughts etc. Many thanks.
