I spoke to the help centre who told me how to access the web email for myself which was a success, I explained my wifes email was also not accesible, however I was told to use the same process for my wife. In doing so the system wants to link and create a VM/O2 account for my wife ( I already thought she had one but who am I to question this). I try to do this but it tells me my wifes telephone is linked to another account (Mine) and requests I release it via an email link so it can be now linked to my wifes VM/O2 account which I agree to and also verify the action just taken, however nothing happens except the count down for the approval of the link switch just keeps running. I do this in the vain attempt to access my wifes web mail for her to look for messages she is not receiving but expecting. I think you need to have a masters degree in IT or be an expert in hacking to navigate the email systems now. I am slowly running out of patience can someone for VM and or O2 please help and sort this out. Changed Passwords for VM Account and 2 email accounts via auto generated. I have today changed my password for my VM Account (3rd Party email client address) and created a new (3rd Party email client address) and password for my Wifes new VM Account. I have also changed my ******@ntlworld.com app password for my desktop Outlook and phone email apps using the auto generate password for both myself and my wife. In desktop outlook I have changed the paswords for both our *****ntlworld.com email accounts and this works fine (send & receive). I have changed the password on my mobile phone email client and again that works fine. I tried changing the password on my wifes mobile phone (same make & model) but keep getting a message "Couldnt Verify Account" "The username or password is incorrect or POP3/IMAP access isnt turned on for this account. Check your email account settings on the web and try again" I have tried this on the web now using my wifes 3rd Party email client address and its associated password - but i get a window reply "Oops you can't do that right now ...................... etc etc". Ive tried this accessing my own web mail page but also get the same message. Very frustrating when we changed the passwords for security reasons..... What is the solution it doesnt work on one mobile device and web access can't be acheived. Re: On/Off button not working on remote My V6 remote on/off button is not responding. I tried ordering on the VM site but kept going around in circles. I tried using the chat function but that wasn't working albeit was within the working time. Can anyone suggest a solution - getting frustrated. On/Off button not working on remote Trying to get a replacement remote for faulty one. The on/off button works intermittently and is getting worse. I have tried using VM web to order but keep going around in circles tried chat but that not working !!. Can someone help please.
