I'm on a Tivo V6 Maxit TV package, the invoices shows no add on extra costs. Another post mentioned something about a Sky Sports package. I don't currently subscribe to this, and don't want to going forward. I already pay an arm and a leg to Virgin, and on an 18 month contract with a year to go. There is a service change request on the account, showing a change request date of yesterday, but no mention of 360 (if it even does?). At the moment, the bill breakdown is still showing a V6 and not 360. 360 costs Hi, I followed a link from an email to upgrade to 360 'at no additional cost'. However, I have received an email from VM and I quote "Your next bill will be £***.** which includes £16.34 to cover your changes up until your next bill period. There is also a one-off charge of £0.00 for installation or activation." What is the £16.34 in respect of? I have also read so many posts with forum members being unhappy with 360, and wondering if I have not opened the box containing the remote, can I return it and stick with my current box? Thanks. Re: Webmail error The issue now appears to have resolved itself. Webmail error Hi, I am trying to compose a new email, but get this error: Error The connection to remote server dcdir-prd-nl1-vmo.nl1.unified.services was refused or timed out while attempting to connect. Please try again later. Is there an issue at present? My Outlook email account is also refusing to connect, and asking for the 4 group password. Many thanks, John Re: Did I order a new remote for V6? Thanks jpeg1. It shows no orders outstanding, so I've ordered a replacement for £9.99. It says I have had a replacement in the last 12 months, which I haven't had, but hey ho, it's Christmas. Did I order a new remote for V6? Hi, my TV remote is acting up. I went online a week ago on my mobile to order a replacement, which said it would be free of charge, but the app crashed before it was completed. I then went on my PC to try and order a replacement again, but it said that there would be a charge of £9.99, as I had ordered one in the last 12 months. I have not done so, so wondering if the first request did actually get through? Thanks, John Re: Do VM offshore Support staff use Anydesk? I agree with you, but it still doesn't sit well with me. VM are recommending Truecaller to identify spam calls. However, Truecaller has been called into account for massive data breaches, involving lots of client data, not only phone numbers. Maybe time for VM to do a bit of research themselves before still advocating it? Re: Do VM offshore Support staff use Anydesk? Thanks both; that is very interesting to read. Even more interesting, my friend rang VM yesterday over WiFi issues, and ended up speaking to an offshore support worker. Very coincidentally, within half an hour, and for the remainder of the day, he started getting numerous calls, all supposedly from VM, probably VoIP, telling him that he needs to allow them to install Anydesk on his device. It is therefore my strong opinion that someone is passing over VM customer details to a 3rd party scammer, whether or not for financial gain I wouldn't like to say. A strong statement, but it is far too much of a coincidence in my humble opinion. As an aside, I certainly wouldn't allow 3rd party access, unless I knew who it was and what it was for. I used to use Go To resolve in a former job so understand the concern. Do VM offshore Support staff use Anydesk? Simple question, yes or no? Thanks
