360 costs

Hi, I followed a link from an email to upgrade to 360 'at no additional cost'.

However, I have received an email from VM and I quote "Your next bill will be £***.** which includes £16.34 to cover your changes up until your next bill period. There is also a one-off charge of £0.00 for installation or activation."

What is the £16.34 in respect of?

I have also read so many posts with forum members being unhappy with 360, and wondering if I have not opened the box containing the remote, can I return it and stick with my current box?

Thanks.

Check your MyVm account on line to see what's listed there. If the 'upgrade' is from a V6 there shouldn't be a price change, but VM will use any possible pretext to slip in extra charges. Could they have started a new 18 month contract? If so you need to stamp on this within 14 days.

Thanks for the response. I'm on a Tivo V6 Maxit TV package, the invoices shows no add on extra costs.

Another post mentioned something about a Sky Sports package. I don't currently subscribe to this, and don't want to going forward. I already pay an arm and a leg to Virgin, and on an 18 month contract with a year to go. There is a service change request on the account, showing a change request date of yesterday, but no mention of 360 (if it even does?).

At the moment, the bill breakdown is still showing a V6 and not 360.

Don't do it, or cancel if you have. Its a downgrade in lots of ways.
