ContributionsMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Tv on the Go app setting Also and as an aside. Virgin Community sent mean email to ask if thereploes here had helped. Then promptly stuck that in the junk email folder as if it was SPAM. Seems a bit of an own goal. Re: Tv on the Go app setting Quite possibly. Although I haven't got any other apps that on immediate open I g straightaway cease anything else playing sound and hog the connection. Which suggests the app has the control and holds the answer to the issue. It looks like there is no easy fix or setting this end, other than try not to use the app when listening to music. Missing email folder Hi, I set up a new email folder and moved some travel-related emails in there. I can see the folder and the emails when I access email via the email app on my iPhone. But if i go via a desktop and use Virgin Media mail, the folder doesn't exist. The files don't appear if I search for them there either. Is there some synch issue between Apple email app and Vmail or something else that has changed, or a setting to review maybe? SolvedRe: Missing email folder Thanks Graham. I was using the desktop, but a second look and exploring more items gave me the Imap Subscription section. Quite right, that folder wasn't ticked. It is now and is visible. The second folder I had added via Webmail still didn't show on iPhone despite being ticked already, but a close and reopening the phone email seemed to correct that. I've added lots of folders over time, but never seen that issue or the need to check the folder setting before. We live and learn. Thank you for your prompt help. Re: Missing email folder Thanks, I'm not sure that quite works. I have looked under cog in VMWEbmail and can see settings for the account, but nothing that specific about the folders. I can't see any folders listed in settings. Also, I added the folder via the iPhone email app, but I can't see on Vmail on the web. I have just added another new folder, this time via VM Webmail on desktop. I can see it there, but that one isn't visible at all on my iPhone email app. Confused! Re: Tv on the Go app setting Thanks, there is a way via iPhone settings to select apps and stop them connecting with Bluetooth automatically, but the VMGo app isn't listed as one that does. Tv on the Go app setting The TV on the Go app is really irritating in that as soon as I open it on my iphone, any other app like Spotify or BBC Sounds stops it’s play via my Bluetooth speaker. So if I am listening to some music and want to check whats on TV later, the music stops within seconds of opening the app. I assume it takes over the bluetooth connection immediately rather than when actually needed to play video/sound/tv. Is there a setting somewhere that can stop this happening? Re: Help re queries pre possible move from Sky TV thanks, that's helpful info. Re: Help re queries pre possible move from Sky TV Ok thanks. That helps somewhat. I guess I have to persevere and try and order/talk to VM to work it out fully. Odd that they seem to make it a bit complex rombut from them. Help re queries pre possible move from Sky TV Hi, I have struggled to find answers to these queries online. I tried the chat service but after a 40 min wait, the chat took an hour going thru options and packages and I didn't have time to stay on so I could ask these. Are the multi boxes connected by wifi or cable? If it’s cable and the other side of the house, I’m guessing an engineer visit to install may be needed. I was trying to find out if that's chargeable as a fee. If the Broadband goes down, does that ALWAYS mean no TV too or are there exceptions to that? I have no idea typically how long it takes from order to install, I don't want to cancel Sky too early, nor too late. All the online stuff just wants to seek you the standard package and doesn't seem to cover any of this. I haven't found a telephone number either where I can quickly jump to these simple questions without going through loads of hoops, Info and options first.
