I have been very loyal to telewest and virgin media, bypassing competion offers year after year but, enough is enough. Price hike in April takes my bill to £190 per month in May. I can get the same package + free Disney and Netflix included for 57% less. When are VM going to realise that the card up their sleeve is their product. They would have everybody onboard if they benchmarked a package that was the same for new and existing customers. Everybody would be happy. Yes I had a discount when I joined benefitted for 2 years but since then, it's been the worry of changing that's kept me as a customer. Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router Engineer arrived today, swapped the Hub5 for a Hub4 and everything is now working. There are quite clearly issues with the Hub5. Every device in the house that worked on the previous Hub4 and didn't recognise the Hub5 is now connected to the replacement Hub4 that was installed today. It's not right that this Hub5 is out and about for installs and repairs when it quite clearly has so many issues. Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router Hi TeddyTRK. Long story short. Engineer arrived yesterday at 8am as I only had WiFi, no Lan on a Hub4. Swapped the 4 out for a 5 and lost my WiFi too. 8.45am after multiple visits to his van he said he had to fix something in the street and would be back at 6pm. He never returned. It's only after googling Samsung + VM Hub5 that I came across the obviously well known issues. I appreciate your advice. Thank you. I'm not going to fiddle with the box though as I don't want to be left with it or charged for tech visits "because I've manually reconfigured it". I don't think, given my monthly fee, that it's too much to expect a competent technician to complete a job properly and leave the customer with a working connection as opposed to bodging a job, running away and pretending he was never onsite. Re: UK’s Fastest WiFi Guarantee In Every Room Or Money Back It doesn't work with my Samsung products, Sharp products or Sony products. Had a Hub5 installed. WiFi can't be found. The devices in question can find other WiFi connections including the neighbours WiFi and my work phone hotspot .. but not the Hub5 that sits less than 6 feet away. When will my £100 be credited. Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router Don't bother. It doesn't work with Samsung products, Sharp products, Sony products. Had a Hub5 installed. WiFi can't be found. The devices in question can find other WiFi connections including the neighbours WiFi and my work phone hotspot .. but not the Hub5 that sits less than 6 feet away. Back to the drawing board VM. This is a useless lump of plastic that will end up costing you a fortune in engineer resource and subsequent bill increases for customers.
