My O2 contract which is connected to my Virgin Media contract ends shortly.
I am looking to get a lower monthly payment as I am not a big user. If I go elsewhere will this affect my Virgin Media benefits?

Hi colinwebb,

If you have a unlimited Sim with O2 it is possible to change it to a cheaper one and still keep your Volt benefits. I phoned O2 retentions and the girl I spoke to looked at my usage and offered me different use options that I could keep the Volt benefits with, also as it was a 'new' contract I could get another 6 months of Disney + free.

If you go to a different provider you will lose your Volt benefits AFAIK.

It will have no effect. I too have left o2 and retained my volt benefits with tv and broadband.

This is wrong. You do not lose your volt benefits.

Have you renewed your TV Volt contact since switching away from O2.

i added it so yes the tv
