Any recordings frequently freeze on playback. Pausing live tv and then watching it delayed by a few minutes does the same thing.
Had the same issue 2 years ago which required the box to be replaced due to the HDD failing. Is the new box also suffering from the same hardware fault?
Attempted to report this using 150 on the phone with no success due as the "operators are too busy", and the call automatically disconnects me.
We also get frequent V53 channel unavailable issues (not sure if this is related).

Yours does sound a combination of HDD issues & potentially a tuner problem to boot.
If all else fails, VM staff tend to respond on this forum if you still struggle to report the fault after a few days,

Thanks. A few hours after raising this topic, I managed to get an engineer call logged.

Hello Pheekay
Thanks for your first post and welcome to our community.
Sorry to hear about the playback issue on your V6 box. From what @japitts has advised it will be the internal workings that have failed.
Great news as well with you getting an engineer booked.
Do you mind if we asked for an update after the engineer has been out?
We just wanted to make sure everything everything is resolved.
If you need anything else at all? please let us know.
