V6 recordings freeze on playback.

Any recordings frequently freeze on playback. Pausing live tv and then watching it delayed by a few minutes does the same thing. Had the same issue 2 years ago which required the box to be replaced ...

    Yours does sound a combination of HDD issues & potentially a tuner problem to boot.

    If all else fails, VM staff tend to respond on this forum if you still struggle to report the fault after a few days,

Thanks. A few hours after raising this topic, I managed to get an engineer call logged.

Thanks for your first post and welcome to our community.

Sorry to hear about the playback issue on your V6 box. From what japitts has advised it will be the internal workings that have failed.

Great news as well with you getting an engineer booked.

Do you mind if we asked for an update after the engineer has been out? 

We just wanted to make sure everything everything is resolved.
