I Player error 02050

When I try and watch something on I player I get an error message. Something went wrong loading this program. I have Googled the code (02050) and it's saying about update TV firmware but noting about set top box.

Problem seems to have resolved itself. IPlayer is now worrking

Have checked some of the others My5, ITVX and they are working.

Welcome to the community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your TV box at the moment.

Please could you try the following to clear your TV boxes cache - Home > Thumbs down > Thumbs up > Play > Play > Play 

Please let me know if this works for you or not. If it doesn't help we can try to help further from here.

Thanks for your update on this. We were aware of an issue earlier in the week that was affecting some apps on our V6 services. This issue has now been resolved, and apps should be usable.

Are you still seeing the same error message when attempting to watch content? Are you able to provide us with a picture of the error message you see?

Does this issue also occur when on other V6 TV apps?

No have used ITVX, 40D, My5

Hello zinger549.

Can we just ask if iPlayer works on other devices okay with your account details?

If it does then we would need to look at swapping the box as a last resort.

I will send you a private message anyway, as I need to access your account to run a check on the box.

If you can check the Logo top right of your screen that would be great.
