I have just upgraded to the new 360 TV

after getting error code MA3/14/40 and looking it up on here I deleted my recordings and tried again but got error cod MA1/15/40. I switched off my box for a few minutes then when I switched it back on it automatically started the upgrade and download.

I now have 2 questions.

why didnt the instructions say that it would be advisable to delete (and not just watch) our recordings?

what do we do now with the old remote controls, which belong to VM?

The recordings should have been automatically deleted as the hard drive is reformatted during the migration process

VM don't need them back so they can be recycled.  I've kept hold of mine in case a family member, friend or neighbour ever need them.

Hi @petersladdie,

Thank you for your post and welcome back to our community forums. We're here to help.

I'm sorry to hear you had some trouble with upgrading your TV, but I'm glad that's sorted for you now. In regards to the older remotes, as @newapollo has mentioned, we wouldn't require them back and would ask that you recycle them.

If you head here, you can find your local recycling centre to ensure that they're recycled responsibly.

Let us know if there's anything more that we can assist you with.

Thanks,
