We have had Virgin two weeks and 360 box isn’t work . Spoke with someone today who tried everything and said they would send engineer Wednesday. This isn’t good enough. How do I complain thanks

Hello, just got virgin 360 two weeks ago and today cannot switch it on. Been trying over an hour. 360 box is at red all the time, we get welcome screen on tv then just switches off. I’ve done everything suggested on on line help.
any help appreciated thanks

The red light on the front of the 360 box means it's in standby mode. If you press that red light button then the box should come out of standby and start up.
Once you do get the 360 box working you should go to Settings > System > Standby Timer. From there you can choose how long the TV is idle before it goes into standby. There are four choices:- 4, 5, 6 and 24 hours. I suggest choosing 24 hours.
Also if you go to Settings > System > Standby power consumption and select Fast start or Active start then the box will wake up quicker than leaving it set to Eco start.
Please reply and let us know if you get past the Welcome screen
