Mistakenly ordered this. It's now on and God it's awful. Unfortunately won't let you revert back. If I can get sky I will. All apps have to sign in every time. Recorded programmes have to go round the houses to get in. Amongst other issues. Without a doubt worst thing Virgin have done

You shouldn't need to sign into your apps every time unless you sign out when you exit. If you are watching netflix for example just press the TV button to exit, if this is what you are doing it maybe a sign of a failing box.

Do you also have the 360 set to fast start or active start, having it set to eco start seemed to cause a problem for some users in the past but shouldn't, I have unplugged my 360 when moving things and not had to sign in again.

Just use the voice button and say 'recordings'

Hi yes have it set to fast start. I genuinely do not like this system but can't now go back to the old one. Very frustrating

You mentioned other issues, if you say what they are that might help.

My Harmony remote doesn't have a voice button.

I hadn't realised that you have a VM 360 box and are using a harmony remote with it.  (It is a VM customers perogative whether or not to use the 360  remote control, or any other third party remote control such as the harmony remote)

So did you reconsider your cancellation as per < this post >   from 21st March and decide to stay with VM, even though you posted that you actually left just before Christmas according to  <this post>  from 21st August, and are now using a device called an HDHomerun

Looking at <this post> from 5th September it doesn't look like you actually have a 360 as you state, 'I'm sure it mostly works fine', and, ' I switched to using Plex as my PVR, which is not as good as the V6 but does every thing the 360 does and more, like auto-skip on adverts'

So despite all of your posts denigrating the 360 you haven't actually used it/ or aren't subscribed to a VM TV service with the 360?

I received my box today, unfortunately minus the splitter cable needed to connect the hub and box to the main cable.as I had started to install the 360 it disabled my old TiVo box so I then had no service at all. The technician wasn’t very good and wanted to book an engineer to come out. I then called customer services and a very helpful man managed to get my TiVo box re-connected. I will now be looking to see what sky has to offer as I am fed up paying £119 per month just for tv alone.

I’m sending mine back tomorrow, can’t understand why you need a box and a hub. I thought things were supposed to get stream lined due to technology not bigger

If you were already on Virgin broadband and didn't want a 360 box connected by coax then you should have asked for a stream box.
