Samsung Universal TV Remote and TV 360

Hi,

I have been offered the upgrade to TV 360, which I will initiate when I get back from holiday.  My TV is a Samsung which comes with a universal remote.  This currently works well controlling the TV and the TIVO box.

I've read the existing posts in the forum in relation to using the Samsung universal remote to control the TV 360, but there does not seem to be a definitive answer.

So if anyone out there has successfully used their Samsung remote and the TV 360, please could list the steps you used to set it up.

Any help gratefully received.

Kind Regards,

Bill

I do not work for VM. Services: 2 x HD TV (+ Sky Sports, TNT sport), x2 Tivo boxes (WiFi) Hub5 1gb, Talk Weekend Phone on IP.

Hi Bill,

There's no guarantee the following will work but see < this post >  and the link contained in that post.

Also It sometimes works with either Arris DCX960 or just DCX960, and also Pace DCR7111

You could also try selecting satellite box > tv directly
Then enter your postcode and select Virgin
Select the HDMI port that your Virgin box is connected to and hit Channel Up and select NO around half a dozen times. After that it will offer you to search for model of your box manually.

I don't work for Virgin Media.

Recently had the same issue. I have a Samsung TM2360E universal remote, and a Arris DCX960/KK0B/N215/1000 Virgin 360 box.

The remote was working fine using the Pace DCR7111 setting, but stopped working 1/11/24. So i deleted and re added, fail. Started relooking at the Ariss options again. Worked.

Select ARRIS

Select Search More models

Choose the ‘NEXT’ model at the bottom of the list (Yes the model called ‘NEXT’).

All working again fine
