I am having real issues with recording on the new 360 box. I ask for something to be recorded and press the series link obviously. When I want to watch the programme it's really hit and miss as to whether it let's me fast forward through adverts etc. If I get the delete/keep box come up at top of screen, I know I'm doomed! If I then press keep and fast forward it throws me out and I have to start from the beginning again! Sometimes all is well and I can fast forward immediately. However if I stop and then come back to it another time, again it's hit or miss if it says watch from where you left off or it's gone back the process I mentioned above! It also records the same programme every time it's on! Even after I've watched and deleted. If I've set it up to record as a series, when series 2 comes on, will it automatically record like my old V6 box did as that was an excellent function? The only thing good about 360 seems to be the talk function! Please can someone assist with regards to this frustrating keep/delete problem and not being able to fast forward? TIA

Yes that's ok I believe. Tried to watch Rich House Poor House earlier which was recorded last night off TV and again couldn't fast forward! So frustrating

@Juliep10 wrote:So I normally go through the planner and press record on programmes I fancy, ie DI Ray on ITV at 9pm. It records at 9pm on ITV. Next day I go to watch it and press the 30 second fast forward button on main large circle and it throws me out and goes back to main page saying watch again or delete recording etc.
Instead of using the navigational buttons to fast forward try using the buttons shown in the picture below.
There might be a problem with your actual remote, or the remote buttons to constantly fail when trying to fast forward..
Have you tried new batteries, or pairing the remote again?
To pair the remote again hold down the 'Live TV' and '0' button together for around 10/15 seconds. The Standby button should then start to flash followed by an onscreen message displaying 'Pairing successful - this remote will only work with this Virgin 360 box'.
You can also try the following pairing method:-
Put the box into 'Pairing Mode' by pressing the Standby/On button on the front of the 360 box for 10 seconds. Then using the remote control, press and hold the 'Live TV' button and the '0' button together for 10/15 seconds. And fingers crossed hopefully a message should appear on the screen confirming that pairing was successful.
Have you tried using use the TVGO app as a temporary remote to see if you can then use the fast forward function?
There are links to download the TVGo app for ios and android devices on <this page>
To access the remote control functions using TVGo app:-
For iOS, tap the Connect to TV icon at the top right hand side of the screen.
For Android, go the main menu > Guide > My Shows > Manage > Info > Remote Control
