Please can somebody help? I am unable to pair my 360 remote with my Sharp Aquos TV. I followed the recommended steps, but it doesn’t seem to be a recognised brand. Thanks in advance. Tony.

Have you tried factory resetting the remote. Resetting the remote seems to update the list and it should recognise Sharp.

Press and hold the TV and Rewind button for 10 seconds which will factory reset the 360 remote. After the factory reset, try pressing TV and 0 button for 10 seconds and it should now force pairing.

You could also try new batteries which seems to work for some users, not sure if it's just resetting the remote.

Another method is to Put the box into Pairing Mode by pressing the Standby/On button on the front of the box for 10 seconds. Then using the 360 remote control, press and hold the 'TV' button and the '0' button together for 10 seconds.

  3. Select Pair remote with devices
  4. Select Pair TV and follow the on screen instructions

A thousand thank you's!!! 😀

I tried to pair my remote, when I first got my 360 Box about a year ago. But My Sharp TV wasn't recognised, and after numerous attempts I assumed it would never happen. Therefore, I gave up.

Then this month, I realised the Community may know how to solve the issue. I tried your first suggestion (press/hold TV/Rewind for 10 seconds). And bingo; it worked! I was so surprised, relieved and happy, it actually brought tears to my eyes.

Now, I can enjoy TV over Christmas, and forever lol, with (instead of two, mismatched, clashing remotes) just one smart, compact, modern remote on the coffee table.

Thanks again, and a very merry Christmas.

Many thanks for your help. Problem now solved! 😁
