Once again sound loss on ITV channels

Tuning in

This is now the fourth time this has happened, the last time it lasted for a day the time before it was 7 days.Everthing has been checked ie ie cables and connections etc and the second 360 box we have is working fine, which leads me to believe that the 360 box is the problem.

Any thoughts or suggestions

thanks

Have you have tried rebooting the box by turning the power off and on with either the switch on the back of the box or at the plug.

If that doesn't work you could try a factory reset.

It's only a partial system reset and not a complete factory reset. You are given 2 options,

Keep Recordings
Format Disk

Choose Keep Recordings, that means you won't lose your recordings and any planned recordings or series links you've set up, you will have to sign into your apps such as iPlayer, Prime, Netflix and ITVX again, also Match frame rate and Standby power consumption will go back to their default settings if you have changed them.

Another thing to try is if the audio is set to follow content does changing it to one of the PCM settings make any difference.

Have you tried swapping the 360 boxes around to see if the error also occurs when using the second box?
