I've had an issue with BBC1 and BBC2 for weeks. An App not accessible error appears with a CS2400 error. I habe tried restarting the box. I have also contacted virgin and was given a 5 day resolution time but this has elapsed and its still not resolved.
What is going on here and how can I get it resolved? The people I spoke to at virgin don't seem to have an idea what is going on, but checking these forums its doesn't look like an isolated issue.
Thanks

Hey Charlee88, thank you for reaching out and a warm welcome to the community I am sorry to hear this.
Are you only having this issue with Prime?
If so have you tried to delete and reinstall the app at all?
Has prime ever worked for you?
Also when you say clicking is this when it turning on or clicking all the time? Cheers

I am now getting this error for my YouTube app on 360 box, connected via ethernet. All other apps work

Hi Pomroy112,
I guess you have tried rebooting the box and that has made no difference, have you also tried factory resetting the box using the keep recordings option.
You won't lose your recordings and any planned recordings or series links you've set up, but you will have to sign into your apps such as iPlayer, Prime, Netflix and ITVX again, also Match frame rate and Standby power consumption will go back to their default settings if you have changed them.

I'm also getting the CS2400 error on BBC iPlayer and BBC channels. Extremely frustrating and no obvious fix

The CS2400 error mainly affects BBC channels, possibly related to the BBC iPlayer app, for which a link is triggered when you land on a BBC channel. This provides the interactivity with the red button in the same way as customers get an error message when there is no internet connectivity with the box.
Have you tried the original workaround?
You can force the BBC channels to play without the pop up reappearing if you hit the back button on the 360 remote when the error message appears, and then press pause and play

Thank you for posting this advice newappollo.
Did it help anyone or does anyone still need help on this?

I’m getting the CS2400 error but only when trying to use YouTube. I’ve just had a new V6 delivered today (to replace an old V6 that was not compatible with the 360 upgrade).
My V6 box in my bedroom works fine and over WiFi too.
My new main V6 box is having the error and runs over Ethernet. The old V6 box had no issues with YouTube at all.
I’ve checked all connections too, connection quality is good. Also tried to run main box over WiFi and still won’t launch YouTube.
Does a new box have additional updates after initial set up or do I have another problem?

Hi benbmw1980
There shouldn't be any additional updates. Have you tried swapping the boxes around?

No but I’ll try that now.

Hi newapollo,
you were right, I swapped the boxes over and it’s definitely the new box that doesn’t like YouTube.
the old box works perfectly with all apps. The new one (now in the bedroom and on WiFi is still getting the error code).
it must be some type of software error.
