BBCi and ITVX Apps not working

I know this has been asked before but I have not seen a definitive answer that’s solved the issue. Yesterday the BBCi and ITVX apps would not load we just got a black screen, restarted the 360 but still no joy. We then reset back to factory and they came back, however today both BBCi and ITVX would not play programs and had error 02050 showing. Switched off the 360 and now both the apps are not starting, we are just getting a black screen.

  • The apps are working for me but I am guessing you are in Hampshire.

    As the apps all rely on the internet connection I would check down that route, If you press the Home button > Settings > System > Diagnostics and then you can check your Internet connection, if you are using wi-fi you could try an ethernet cable. You could also try turning your 360 off power cycling the hub and then turn your 360 back on.

    Have you checked for faults in your area, you can login to your My Virgin Media and check your service status. or phone 0800 5610061 for a more localised check.

    Welcome to the Community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your TV applications. 

    Are you still experiencing the issues with the applications at the moment or have you been able to get the problems resolved?

      Hi, I'm having the same problems. I've tried switching box and internet on and off but nothing has changed. Can you advise what I should do?

        I'm sorry to hear you're also facing this issue with your TV apps. Can you please advise which TV box you have and if any other apps are also exhibiting the same issues?
