ITVX app won't stream

I have quite happily watched ITVX app on my media box, Sony TV and my firestick for a good few months now. Today nothing will stream from ITVX app on any device, all other platforms, Netflix, player etc are fine. I raised the issue with ITVX and they say it's a Virgin Broadband error as there is no issue there end, I have rebooted router and re installed app on a couple of devices but still no joy. Has anybody else experienced this problem please.  Just as my contract is up for renewal 😃
